    We are looking for a recruiter with an emphasis on the recruitment of technologists and quantitative Traders. This person should be an enthusiastic self-starter who is eager to get involved in all aspects of the team. The ideal candidate will be able to think big-picture while also understanding the importance of details, to be persistent and always follow through on managing projects from start to finish. This person will help facilitate resume screening and recruitment process for candidates at both the university and experienced levels across technology and trading groups. This person will also aide in researching new sourcing tools to find top talent.


    As the Recruiter you will work with hiring managers across Volant Trading to provide a best in class full lifecycle recruitment service both internally and externally. You will execute talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract and hire high-quality technology talent for the business, utilizing active and passive sourcing techniques to fill existing and future job openings.


    General Recruitment Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee full life-cycle regional recruiting processes
    • Provide value-add recruiting advice to hiring managers and key senior leaders/decision makers to influence and persuade talent decisions and strategies
    • Demonstrate understanding of talent needs of hiring managers and job requirements to assess candidate quality, skills and fit to identify the best candidate for a position
    • Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in full-lifecycle recruiting
    • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements

    Campus Recruitment Responsibilities:

    Campus Recruiters are responsible for coordinating the strategy, logistics and execution of campus and university recruitment efforts. You will be on the front-line representing the Volant Trading brand and ensuring that we attract the best and brightest students. This will also include working with University Leaders and Professors to help build brand awareness and excitement on campus.

    • Work with Business Leaders to create a plan for your campus activities including getting senior level commitment for time, resources and focus.
    • Develop innovative and creative ways to attract the best and brightest diverse candidates and increase our competitive advantage.
    • Develop relationships with University Leaders and Professors to assist in overall insight and activities at each school.



    • 5-8 years of combined lateral and campus recruiting experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment responding to multiple job requirements across a wide spectrum of technology related positions including but not limited to Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Design, Development and Architecture
    • Experience establishing on-campus relationships and promoting a compelling employment brand at elite colleges and universities
    • Strong record of success in coordinating & implementing campus recruiting events and interview days
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior management; presenting to senior management
    • Ability to handle internal client management, provide strong customer consultative skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
    • Ability to be self-directed with a high sense of urgency, while also effectively collaborating and working in a team environment
    • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred
