    OVERVIEW:

     

    The Project Manager will lead project delivery across all firm initiatives. The PM will work closely with cross-functional team members to manage project management, including: resource management, workflow/process improvement, cost management, and quality/risk management. The PM will work closely with the other disciplines in delivering and exceeding our stakeholders’ expectations.

     

    This role will contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment to build and enhance working relationships within the firm. He/she will lead the effort to use techniques that deliver better results and ensuring compliance to the firm’s best practices.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting and driving adherence to workflow management process improvements
    • Enforcing processes and protocols to facilitate quality control (QA, approvals)
    • Ensures the efficient and appropriate use of resources
    • Create a resource allocations process and manage adherence
    • Manage adherence of tracking resource utilization
    • Perform weekly financial reviews and reconciliations
    • Manage the project management methodology process, lead projects and assist others in leading projects to ensure complete, cost effective and timely implementation
    • Determine overall how to capture and apply data against metrics in order to continually measure and optimize overall efficiency
    • Break through silos and resolve conflicts through creative problem solving and savvy negotiating skills
    • Manage projects across cross-functional teams – including external vendors as needed - to consistently ensure that quality deliverables are produced on time and on budget
    • Actively manage project health, including proactive planning as relates to resourcing, delivery timeline and budgeting
    • Identify, resolve/mitigate or appropriately escalate any issues or delays and ensure all targets are met on time and in full.
    • Preparing daily status reports, schedule and lead internal status meetings regularly as necessary to track project milestones and ensure effective issue resolution and quality project delivery is achieved
    • Develop the firm’s ability to effectively use quality and process based techniques
    • Ensure project goals and metrics are outlined, and team members are properly supported in their role

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 5+ years of Project Management experience
    • 3+ years working in financial services and technology
    • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

     

    Preferred:

    • Certified SCRUM Master
    • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in trading, software development and web technologies
    • College degree, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
    • Experience working in a trading firm 
    • PMP / PRINCE II certification a plus
